Linear Inequalities 1     

A linear inequality is an inequality which is represented on a graph paper. A linear inequality contains special symbols of inequality such as >(Greater than),<(less than), >=(Greater than or equal to), <=(Less than or equal to) etc..



  1. Determine the inequalities that represent and satisfies the unshaded region                    (3 mks)

  1. Two pairs of trousers and three shirts cost a total of Shs.390. Five such pairs of trousers and two shirts cost a total of Shs.810. Find the price of a pair of trousers and a shirt
